The San Diego Series Chula Vista Classic was a big day for 3T, with four athletes stepping up to compete: Ada Reynoso, Jeanette Kurnow, Fiona Kurnow, and 3T Ambassador Cassey Reynoso. From podium finishes to first-time racing, each athlete gave us something to celebrate.

Leading the way was Ada Reynoso, earning silver in a competitive field. Ada put together another strong multisport performance, but it was her run that stood out. She attacked the final leg with speed and confidence, showing once again that running is becoming one of her biggest weapons on the triathlon course.

Another podium and another opportunity to keep building. Jeanette Kurnow Shows Resilience

Sometimes racing is less about everything going according to plan and more about how you respond when it doesn’t.

Jeanette Kurnow demonstrated that resilience after suffering a fall on the bike.Rather than allowing the setback to define her race, Jeanette regained her focus, kept competing, and battled her way to a bronze medal. That ability to reset and continue competing under adversity says as much about an athlete as any finishing time.

3T Ambassador Cassey Reynoso also delivered, earning a silver medal and adding another podium finish to an already memorable day for the team.

Having athletes of different ages and experience levels competing together represents exactly what 3T is about: making multisport accessible, challenging ourselves, and supporting one another along the way.

Perhaps the most important performance of the day didn’t come down to a podium. Fiona Kurnow stepped into her first multisport event, showing the courage to try something completely new and the consistency to keep moving forward until she crossed the finish line.

Every experienced athlete once stood at their first starting line. Fiona took that step in Chula Vista—and officially became a multisport athlete.

Four Athletes.. Three Podiums. One Team.

Silver for Ada. Bronze for Jeanette. Silver for Cassey. A first finish for Fiona.

The medals are exciting, but what made Chula Vista special was seeing four 3T athletes demonstrate four different qualities we want our team to represent: performance, resilience, leadership, and courage.

We showed up together. We competed together. And we left Chula Vista stronger than we arrived.

This is 3T.. Train. Compete. Grow. Together.
